Weaver has a stirrup for every occasion! They start by shaping the finest selection of firm, durable, 1/2” thick hickory wood. The edges are carefully sanded on all edges to help prevent splintering and sharp edges. Next they varnish the stirrups to seal them and help protect them against the elements. Finally they are bound with high quality, shaped and meticulously creased 24 gauge galvanized metal.
These wooden stirrups feature leather treads that are hand laced with chestnut alum tanned lace leather. The skirting leather roller covers are precisely sewn onto the stirrups.
